Alex and I want to share with you some of the exciting changes that are coming to

The Avenue café and restaurant this year.

We are planning to introduce the first set of initiatives on March 1st, 2023.

We have long been considering how we can best achieve our vision of The Avenue being one of the Limestone Coast's destinations for both dining and accommodation.  
Foremost in this strategy is to refocus our identity as a restaurant so that we can offer guests a premium experience. This is exciting in many ways as we will be extending our restaurant opening hours and expanding to offer a more seasonal approach with more specials.

 

This shift of direction will see the restaurant hours move to the following: 

Wednesday          5:30 pm – 8:00 pm    
Thursday               5:30 pm – 8:00 pm    
Friday                    5:30 pm – 8:00 pm    
Saturday               5:30 pm – 8:00 pm    

Dinners will see an extension to starting slightly earlier in the evening at 5:30 pm.

Our daytime trade will change to the following:

​​Saturday               8:30 am – 2:00 pm 

Sunday                 8:30 am – 2:00 pm  

We will still be your go-to weekend destination and will be offering the same great weekend breakfast and lunch you all know & love.

​

Our function room will still be available for group bookings via prior arrangements. Catering will be available with a somewhat increased offering (sandwich platters, coffee/tea/sweets, etc), however this will only be available via advanced booking.

We are sure that you will be as excited as we are about the direction we are taking. This is only the start of our ambitious plans for The Avenue
